    Knitted Cuffs

Do you want to learn to knit, or maybe just brush up on your skills?  Join us at this craft class on February 21, 2016 to get the basics and start knitting and purling your way to creating a simple but stylish cuff.  Accented with a button, your unique cuff is just waiting to be paired with a favorite outfit. Take home a set of needles and yarn to feed your newly established knitting addiction. Registration is required.

Thanks to funding from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, the Stillwater Public Library is able to host a series of programs from the Textile Center of Minneapolis, a national center for fiber art.  Other classes offered are Mad Lab with the Textile Center (Ages 5-10 years) on January 16, Japanese Junction - Kokeshi Dolls (Ages 11- 16 years) on January 24, and Wool Felted Soap Pebbles (Adult) - February 5. All classes are free but do require registration.
