Anticipate Earth Day with Poet and Environmentalist Laurie Allmann

On the eve of Earth Day’s 50th anniversary, celebrate with local environmental writer, essayist, poet Laurie Allmann reading from her latest work, “An Hour From Now” (https://tinyurl.com/u85zkxt), a book of poems reflecting our St. Croix Valley.

She received a Minnesota Book Award for her creative nonfiction book, “Far from Tame: Reflections from the Heart of a Continent,” a collection of essays based on ecoregions of Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan. She is a founding coeditor of “Agate” (http://www.agatemag.com/about-agate/), an online environmental magazine.
