Autumn Prairie Restoration Days

Calling all hardy and sure-footed people, age 18+! We are looking for volunteers to help us continue our long-term project of restoring Freedom Park’s very own globally-rare bluff prairie. It would be great to have a crew of volunteers to use the time that we have to make a big impact. Come on over to help out! Snacks provided. We’ll be cutting down sumac and buckthorn. We’ve got some good momentum going on this project from all the work that was done last year and earlier this year. Let’s keep it going!
