An opening reception will be Friday, Nov. 2 at 7:30 p.m. for an exhibit of 49 pieces by artist Lena Wolf Rothman of Stillwater at The Zephyr Theatre Art Gallery, open evenings and weekends.
The exhibit of Ms. Rothman’s work will be on display Nov. 2 through Dec. 31, 2018.
She is trained in classical realism, portraiture and plein art painting. “The vibrancy and nuances that light gives color and form uplift me profoundly,” she said of her work. “In 2004, I devoted the summer searching for information about my ancestry in Iasi, Romania, which resulted in a collection of paintings of life in Romania, some of which are in the show at The Zephyr Gallery.”
