In Sweden, Midsommar Dag is the most important holiday of the year and one of the most uniquely Swedish in the way it is celebrated at the Gammelgarden Museum
The Raising of the Majstång (Maypole) is the most important part of any Midsommar celebration, followed by music and dance.
Historic Buildings are open FREE 10-1 and after program
Craft and Art fair goes on all day. St. Paul Kubb Club Society has a demonstration. There are children’s activities, games and crafts all in the Swedish tradition.
Smörgåsbord will be held on Museum grounds, $15.00 per person / $8.00 Child – no reservation needed.
Gazebo food will be available before and after.
