Help your little one learn through play!
Explore the outdoors with your little one through a story, engaging activities and a hands-on craft. This special program is designed for children ages 3-6 and their adults, but older or younger siblings are welcome. Learn something new while making memories at the park.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Start the fun near the park’s visitor center (Traprock St., Taylors Falls, MN). This program is typically held outdoors and lasts about 45 minutes. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the program will take place indoors at the nearby Naturalist Office. The program is free, but vehicles in the park will need a Minnesota state park vehicle permit ($7 for a daily permit or $35 for an annual permit).

This program is free, but a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit is required for all vehicles entering the park. A daily permit is $7 or an annual permit is $35. Permits can be purchased at the visitor center at 10 AM.
