Once Upon a River with Dan Chouinard

Join Dan Chouinard and other performers for a magical night of music, poetry, and engaging interviews to celebrate Earth Day 2020 and the St. Croix River watershed.

Dan Chouinard is a nationally known, local treasure as pianist, accordionist, singer/songwriter, and mentor for musicians. He has been celebrating Earth Day for 16 years in the St. Croix River Valley. In his annual show, Chouinard and other performers engage the audience in a magical night of music, poetry, and prose in celebration of our beloved St. Croix.

This year, he is collaborating with North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix Heritage Area to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
