Pottery on the Wheel: Ages 7-12

Led by a Ceramics Studio Instructor, students will learn basic techniques of throwing pottery on the wheel. Create cups and
bowls, and finish them in a variety of fun ways. Pick up your work the following week, and bring home pottery you can
use, fired with colorful food-safe glazes.

Class Fee: $89

This class will be held on Mondays – Wednesdays and Fridays during the following weeks of Summer Art Camp: 

• Week 1: June 19-21 & 23 | 11 am – 12:30 p.m. 
• Week 2: June 26-28 & 30 | 9  – 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
• Week 3: July 10-12 & 14 | 9  – 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
• Week 4: July 17-19 & 21 | 9  – 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
• Week 5: July 24-26 & 28 | 9  – 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
• Week 6: July 31-Aug 2 & 4 | 9  – 10:30 a.m., 11 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., or 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.
• Week 7: Aug 7-9 & 11 | 9  – 10:30 a.m.

Dress to get messy – some art materials may stain. Pottery on the Wheel students MUST wear tennis shoes or other closed toed shoes (NO sandals or flip flops)
