Join The Prairie Enthusiasts for a fun-filled and informative celebration of our rare grasslands on Prairie Day, located Willow River State Park, Hudson, WI. There will be a bird hike, prairie pollinator hike, games, crafts, and more!

8:00 am Guided prairie walk just inside the park entrance. An expert will point out important pollinator plants of the prairie! Bring your cameras!

8:00 am Bird walk with a member of the Croix Valley Bird Club. Learn to identify grassland and forest birds by site and sound. Bring your binoculars!

9:00 am Terrestrial Invasive Plants are a big problem for prairie ecosystems. Learn how to manage non-native, invasive plants like buckthorn, wild parsnip, and more!
