Jason Husveth will share his knowledge and experience of discovering rare plants within the St Croix River Valley.
Jason is President and Principal Ecologist at Critical Connections Ecological Services, Inc. in Stillwater, MN. Here he designs and implements wetland banking and restoration projects, conducts field assessments of natural resources, surveys for rare species; assists with rare species conservation and permitting efforts, and develops innovative field survey protocols using GIS. He has detected hundreds of new populations of State Endangered, Threatened or Special Concern species.

Jason holds a BS in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University and a MS in Restoration Ecology and Landscape Architecture from the University of Minnesota.
