Sunset SUP Yoga Workshop

Launching from the village of Marine on St. Croix, we will paddle into the beautiful St. Croix River and watch the sunset on the water. Kelli Carlson (Certified SUP Yoga Instructor) and Chris Coleman (RYT 400, Yoga Forest Studio Owner) will co-lead the experience starting with a paddle overview, water safety set-up and venture into the river way to floating yoga studio on the St. Croix.  

The paddle and yoga break-down:
Starting at 6 pm, paddlers will launch from Marine on St. Croix and paddle for about 15 minutes to the back waters of William O’Brien State Park.  From there, boards will be tethered and participants will be led through a 45 minute yoga flow sequence.  Following your Savasana sunset,  paddlers will return to the beachy launch site for refreshments and snacks at the Surf Yogurt Bar.  

Nervous of the river?  You will have a life jacket and a tether to the paddle.  Check out the video for a little tutorial –

Things to keep in mind:

• beginning yoga and paddle experience is recommended 
• water wicking clothing is advisable
• refreshments and treats provided
