Swingin’ On A Star plays the joyous music of the Great American Songbook: Ellington, Basie, Ella, and Gershwin.
Great for listening or dancing, and held at the outdoor stage, performers will be Steve Clarke (on sax) is a three time Grammy nominee; Dorothy Doring (on vocals) is an alumna of the Twin City Jazz Fest; Joe Steinger (on drums) is a member of the Cafe Accordion Orchestra and a veteran of the Prairie Home Companion; and Rick Korinek (on bass) and Peter Hanson (on keys) are pretty good, too.
