On your daily excursion the licensed boat pilot and tour guide will tell you about the history of the river and the boat as well as point out the unique rock formations that were left behind as the glaciers retreated thousands of years ago. Among the most outstanding formation is the huge stone cross for which the St. Croix River was named. “St. Croix” means Holy Cross.
There is a snack bar (wine, beer, soda, chips & candy) and a restroom aboard the boat for your convenience.
