In the spirit of the Traveling Symphony from St. John Mandel’s novel Station Eleven, ArtReach St. Croix will kick-off this year’s NEA Big Read with two days of pop-up performances all over the lower St. Croix Valley.
On Sunday, March 31 find the First Clarinet, the First Trumpet and the Trombone presenting “pre-collapse” musical selections in 15-minute Random Acts of Culture.

On Monday, April 1 find a trio of Shakespearean actors from Festival Theatre presenting scenes from “Shakespeare’s Greatest Hits” which will be onstage at Festival’s Black Box from April 12-28.
