The Octagon House Museum hosts author Colin Mustful to talk about his book, Resisting Removal: The Sandy Lake Tragedy of 1850

The Octagon House Museum will host author and historian, Colin Mustful, for a virtual lecture and reading. Mustful will be talking about the Sandy Lake Tragedy of 1850, a relatively unknown historical event that left 400 Ojibwe dead in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin because of the negligence and ill-intents of U.S. government officials. Mustful will be reading an excerpt from his novel, Resisting Removal, and inviting questions and discussion from the audience.
