Woven Paper Kente Cloth (art for K-6)

Join us at Stillwater Public Library on Monday, July 15 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. for Woven Paper Kente Cloth (art for K-6). Inspired by colorful textiles from the country of Ghana in Africa we will weave many bright-colored papers into a black paper “loom”. We will then draw fun designs inspired by Kente cloth onto the colorful squares creating our own beautiful patterned placemat. This workshop is for children in K-6th grade.
