Teams from around the world will create amazing snow sculptures while competing for prize money and the title of World Champions.
The Greater Stillwater Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the City of Stillwater is honored to host the Inaugural World Snow Sculpting Championship competition in Stillwater, Minnesota in January!
Spectators can come to watch the entire process and visit with the teams. On Saturday, January 22, they can vote for their favorite team. The team with the most votes will win “The People’s Choice Award.”
This amazing week-long celebration of winter, snow and art will also include social events, activities, ceremonies and will be fun for the whole family!

DAILY in LOWELL PARK: Sculpting Teams will be carving around the clock throughout the event, sculpting hours vary. Enjoy the beer tent, game day warming trailer, snow slide, and snow store.
Wednesday & Thursday 10 am – 5 pm
Friday & Saturday 10 am – 10 pm
Sunday 10 am – 5 pm
All activities and events in Lowell park are FREE TO THE PUBLIC (fees apply in the beer tent, concessions, snow store and special events). There will be designated handicap parking nearby the event location. The walking paths to view the sculptures from both sides, down Myrtle Street, will be maintained to ensure safe conditions.
