LED light show set to music and historic district outlined in white lights all winter long!
Experience a winter wonderland of lights in downtown Stillwater on Chestnut Street from Black Friday (11/26/21) – March (subject to change).
Chestnut/Main Street LED Light Show Set to Music
Enjoy thousands of LED lights synchronized to music nightly from 5-10pm spanning from Main Street to the historic lift bridge. Feel the beat on Chestnut Street as you admire the holiday lights, light tunnel, and large holiday trees illuminating the evening. In February the hues will turn to red and one of the trees will become a heart-shaped feature and for St. Patrick’s day a lucky four leaf clover with green lighting hues.
Riverwalk, Historic Lift Bridge & Main Street Decor
Dress warm and enjoy a stroll along the riverwalk whose traditional lampposts are decorated to light your way. Walk over the Historic Lift Bridge outlined in Hollywood lights on both the north and south end this year! Main Street’s beautiful historic roofline architecture is also lined with white lights and blue snowflakes mark the entire Main Street as well as potted Christmas trees at storefronts. Individual businesses get into the spirit too with holiday decor throughout the historic district. So much twinkle for the entire holiday and winter season!
Where can I find hot chocolate?
There are walk-up windows for hot drinks near the lights at Leo’s Grill & Malt Shop and Charlie’s Irish Pub on the riverside of the Water Street Inn. Greenbridge Coffee Shop is also on the corner of Chestnut and Main. Grab take-out from downtown restaurants to enjoy at the public picnic tables within the lights as well. A special event open container ordinance has been allowed for Lowell Park (riverfront grassy area) area only, so feel free to enjoy your hot toddy to-go.
