Kiss the Ground is optimistic and timely in the face of extreme climate events. You’ll see your garden and the challenge of climate change with fresh eyes.
Kiss the Ground is a non-profit and a documentary. The film illuminates the consequences of having used chemical fertilizers and pesticides since WWII. Our soil has deteriorated and the climate has suffered and yet, this film is a powerful antidote to climate change angst.
The mission of Kiss the Ground is to awaken people to the benefits of regenerative farming practices that sustain healthy soil through carbon sequestration. Carbon sequestration is the removal of CO2 from the atmosphere by plants and micro-organisms and its storage in soils. The answer is in the soil!
In the face of extreme climate events, Kiss the Ground is both timely and optimistic. It is a call to action that invites everyone to become a part of the regenerative agriculture movement.
Pearce & Eleanor Jensen from StrongHeart Farms will be with us following the screening to talk about regenerative agriculture and their farm in Marine on St. Croix.
Please join us on March 1st | We will watch the documentary and then have a discussion afterward.
In partnership with Ascension Climate Action & Sustainable Stillwater Minnesota.
