Presented by Stillwater Public Library at Stillwater Public Library

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Monday, November 13, 2017 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm for “Fake News”: Discerning what is fake, biased or untrue in the news that policy-makers and citizens are reading and seeing.  The discussion will be led by David Schultz of Hamline University and Lindsay Metts-Benson of the University of Minnesota. These experts on deciphering reality versus “alternative facts” or deceptive news coverage will discuss the challenges we face as we search for sources of information we can trust.
