Your creative life is to make something beautifully tangible from what you love, what you find, and where you stand still.

Students are given weekly writing assignments and reading recommendations. Everyone receives encouragement and helpful suggestions, and enjoys a supportive community of writers.

This class is taught by Elissa Cottle, Master of Fine Arts in Writing, published poet, writing teacher of 13 years, and professional writer and editor. She lives in Stillwater.

Students have the opportunity to read their work to a friendly Stillwater audience.
They also may submit their work to be considered for publication in the Stillwater Gazette’s Valley Muses literary page, for which Elissa is the curator.
