Learn about events in nature as they relate to the seasons of the year, and discuss how some of these events have been impacted by climate change.
Join us for a presentation by Bruce Ause, current interpretive naturalist at Frontenac State Park and retired director of the Red Wing Environmental Learning Center! Through slideshow, lecture, and story, Bruce will teach us about events in nature as they relate to the seasons of the year (that is the definition of phenology), and discuss how some of these events have been impacted by climate change.
Bruce Ause was the director of the Red Wing Environmental Learning Center for 30 years. He has volunteered as an interpretive naturalist at Frontenac State Park for 14 years. He is an avid nature photographer and authors a nature blog called Wacouta Nature Notes.
