Join Stillwater Native American Parent Advisory Committee and John Hunter, Twin Cities Native Lacrosse League. Spend an enjoyable afternoon learning about the history and skills of traditional Native Lacrosse: The Creator’s Game!
We had such a great time the last couple of years with John Hunter and the Twin Cities Native Lacrosse League players that we have invited them back again this year! Spend an enjoyable afternoon learning about the history and skills of traditional Native American lacrosse and playing the Creator’s Game. We will gather in the cafeteria for a short presentation and then head to the gym – or outside, weather permitting – to play a game of lacrosse. Dress for the weather and invite your family and friends. All ages can play!
The goal of Twin Cities Native Lacrosse League is to create teams of Native youth and teach them the culture and skills of lacrosse. Currently, the league forms teams of all ages and genders to play in games against local teams. In the future, they hope to invite Native lacrosse teams from across the Midwest to the Twin Cities to compete.
