Bring the kids to Freedom Park to gather together at our butterfly art bench, listen to stories, participate in junior ranger activities, and take home free books!
“Books & Benches” is a project of the Somerset Elementary Family Book Drive in partnership with The Phipps, local libraries, and the National Park Service to increase summer reading and expose young readers to community art in the St. Croix River Valley.
These programs received funding from the St. Croix Master Watershed Stewards/Tropical Wings in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the wild & Scenic Rivers Act.
