Join us at the Stillwater Public Library as we journey down the Namekagon and St. Croix rivers with award-winning photographer Craig Blacklock. Craig’s photography and book will be on display in the gallery in November and December. An artist reception is Saturday, December 15, 2018, from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
Craig Blacklock is one of the country’s most distinguished nature photographers. Photographer/author of eighteen books, Craig is regularly featured in photography magazines such as American Photo, Fine Art Photo, and Outdoor Photographer. His original prints are in museums, private collections, and health care facilities throughout the U.S. Craig has taught photography workshops since 1982, providing guidance in capture, editing and printing.
Craig’s most recent book, St. Croix and Namekagon Rivers – The Enduring Gift, is a celebration of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Wild and Scenic Rivers Act, co-sponsored by former senator Walter Mondale, who has written an essay for the book. Copies of the book are available for purchase.
