Presented by Marine Community Library at Marine Village Hall

Earth, Wind, Fire, and Climate Change:  What’s the future for our forests?

with Peter Reich

Thursday, November 29 at 7 pm

The Minnesota climate has migrated 75 miles north in the past 50 years, and may shift 100-200 miles further north in the next 50. What will this do to our forests? Peter will discuss how Minnesota’s forests have changed since European settlement and how a warming climate might affect their future. He’ll also address climate change impacts globally and what you can do to help.

Peter is Regents Professor in the Department of Forest Resources at the University of Minnesota, and lives in Marine.
