Carla Brown and Colleen Riley first met at an art fair in Northfield, MN. Since then, they have been friends and have naturally and authentically supported each other, especially throughout their art careers. It is not necessarily an easy path to be a working artist. However, the two artists through mutual respect and encouragement, have thrived on the friendship. This is what we are celebrating … the many artists that have deep friendships, respect, and support for one another as they create!

In this case, it appears that the artwork is also a natural pairing … that organically works together.
