Presented by The Prairie Enthusiasts, St. Croix Valley Chapter and St. Croix Valley Bird Club at Willow River State Park

8:00 am  Guided prairie walk just inside the park entrance.  An expert will point out important pollinator plants of the prairie!  Bring your cameras!
8:00 am Bird walk with a member of the Croix Valley Bird Club. Learn to identify grassland and forest birds by site and sound.  Bring your binoculars!
9:00 am Terrestrial Invasive Plants are a big problem for prairie ecosystems. Learn how to manage non-native, invasive plants like buckthorn, wild parsnip, and more!
9:00-11:00 am Visit exhibits outside Nature Center in the park.  There will be snakes, amphibians, games, a scavenger hunt, and more!
10:15 am  Hear Dr. Stanley Temple in Nature Center talk about “What in the World Have We Done to Deserve All These Cranes?”
11:00 am Watch the TPE video “Prairie Enthusiasm” in the Nature Center.
