The Depot Show in Taylors Falls

Presented by Guillermo Cuellar Pottery at Taylors Falls Memorial Community Center

A fine November tradition! Come join us in historic Taylors Falls for the 39th year of excellent handmade craft. This year’s Area Artisans and Friends annual celebration takes place Saturday November 2 from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, November 3 from 10:00-4:00pm in he old Northern Pacific Railway Depot, now called the Taylors Falls Memorial Community Center.

Jewelers Leo and Dina Lisovskis of rural Wisconsin and other local artists created this annual gathering of friends in order to sell their wares and celebrate the harvest season together. Fine hand crafted work will be for sale: Silver jewelery by Karlis Lisovskis, son of Leo and Dina; yarns, weavings, and knitted Alpaca products by Sunrise Alpaca farmer Peggy Pearson; fine wood turning by Stillwater craftsman James Harvieux; traditional willow basketry by Danbury maker Jackie Bedworth; functional stoneware pottery by Shafer potters Guillermo Cuellar and daughter Alana Cuellar; colorful blown glass by Shafer artist Alan Honn; paintings and books by St. Paul painter/illustrator David Geister; wood and metal furniture and fixtures by St. Croix Falls artist Paul Howe; leather handbags by Minneapolis creator Jean Foster.  Enjoy music in this delightful, festive setting on both afternoons: Traditional Irish music by Dunquin on Saturday. Folk-rock by Fat Chants on sunday Afternoon. Refreshments will be served!
