Trot Off the Turkey Hike

Trot Off the Turkey Hike

Presented by St. Croix River Association at Wild River State Park

Bring your entire family to enjoy hiking through beautiful hardwood forest and view the last of the autumn colors. We will hike a section of the River Trail and this will be less than a 3-mile hike. While we hike, we will experience the wild side of Wild River State Park through nature discovery and discussion activities. We will search for evidence of the wildlife living along the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway and if we are lucky, we may spot some of the charismatic animals who make their home here.

As you #OptOutside with us on Black Friday, think about ways you can Opt To Act. This can be as easy as making sure your family leaves no trace and picks up any trash others left behind or ensuring your favorite natural areas continue to be protected by purchasing a state park pass or support the St. Croix River Association for the protection work we do throughout the St. Croix River watershed.

Trip rating: 2
