A Field Guide to the Natural World of the Twin Cities

Local author John Moriarty’s new book, “A Field Guide to the Natural World of the Twin Cities,” is an illustrated guide to the natural habitats and rich diversity of wildlife in the greater Minneapolis and St. Paul metro area. John will highlight some of his favorite places in the metro and the St. Croix Valley, providing interesting natural history facts for some of the plants and animals included in the book.

John Moriarty is the Senior Manager of Wildlife at Three Rivers Park District and has been with the Park District for 15 years. He has been involved in many of the wildlife restoration efforts and initiated the snake and butterfly efforts. His book is published by the University of Minnesota Press (http://tiny.cc/9mqnfz).

John will have books for sale and will do a signing after the talk.
