This is a class for adults to write memoir, fiction, poetry or all three!
Students receive weekly suggested writing and reading assignments, encouragement, guidance and a supportive community of writers. Class size is limited to 12 students.
The class instructor is Elissa Cottle, Master of Fine Arts in Writing. Elissa lives in Stillwater and is a published poet, professional writer and editor for individuals pursuing creative works, businesses and nonprofits.
This is Elissa’s 16th year teaching Creating a Writing Life. She guides her students to choose surprising, unique and succinct language that sustains their readers’ imagination.
The class fee is $100 per quarter. The class meets weekly for 8 weeks per quarter.
