CANCELED "It's Opera Don'tcha Know?"

Presented by Operatunity Theatre at Trinity Lutheran Church

“It’s Opera, Don’tcha Know?”
*Do you know that “Phantom of the Opera” really isn’t an opera?
*Do you know the difference between a bass and a baritone?
*How many types of sopranos are there really?
*Is Andrea Bocelli really an opera singer?

Operatunity Theatre brings guest speaker Andrea Blain, host of “Music Through the Night” on MPR; Terry Blain, Arts Journalist; and World-Class Vocal Clinician and Wagnerian Tenor, Dr. Timothy Mussard, of UCLA and Baldwin-Wallace University (retired) to Stillwater, MN to help you find answers to these types of questions.

You thoroughly enjoyed “Opera on the River” and “Sing In the New Year®”…we know because you told us!  Wouldn’t you like to know how they learn to sing like that? Then this event is for you!
Observe as Dr. Mussard hosts a master class of Minnesotan and Stillwater singers in various stages of their careers as he works with each singer on a selection from their repertoire and see how they can grow in their performance right in front of your very eyes.
Join us to answer all of these questions and many more! It is guaranteed to be an entertaining, but extremely informative evening!
