Get an exclusive first look at choreographer and sculptor Becca Cerra’s developing perfomance work, “Hallucinations (Physical Forms, Mental Distortions)” and have the chance to talk with her about this new project and work in The Galleries. Through a combination of wearable sculpture and dance, Cerra will highlight the often invisible, stigmatized and beautiful complexities of living with mental illness.
This event is part of a series of free programs titled “Art-Inspired Connections 2020” related to exhibitions in The Phipps Galleries. This program is related to Cerra’s exhibit, “Altered Aesthetics”, on view in Gallery One from May 8 through June 14.
