RIVER RADIO Returns!
LIVE on Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m.
Marine Community Library is happy to present Season 2 of its popular River Radio program, starting Saturday, September 12th. This news and information program provides news and insights about your community and your world.
This fall the show will be webcast live via Zoom at a new time, 9:00 a.m. every other Saturday morning. Show dates are: September 12 and 26, October 10 and 24, November 7 and 21, and December 5 and 19.
In addition, River Radio will provide live, election night coverage on Tuesday, November 3, with local, state and national results and analysis.Season 2’s debut edition on September 12th features:
Steve Simon, Minnesota Secretary of State, discussing challenges in conducting elections this November
Dr. Mark Schleiss, professor, Dept. of Pediatrics at the University of Minnesota, who is involved in the development of COVID-19 vaccines
Paul Creager, co-chair of the Marine Film Society, who will discuss the challenges of showing films in public settings today in light of COVID-19 and Marine Documentary Night, with River Radio co-host Gayle Knutson.
