History Outdoors at the Historic Courthouse

Presented by Washington County Parks at Washington County Historic Courthouse

Listen to stories about the how the Historic Courthouse was built, the case of the missing time capsule. the Soldiers & Sailors Civil War Monument, and the history behind the cannon on the courthouse grounds. Traverse down the staircase to the Stillwater Veterans Memorial across the street.

PLEASE NOTE: This tour is not ADA accessible and includes uneven staircases, pavement and sidewalks, traversing light terrain. Please dress for the weather and wear athletic shoes.

– Recommended for ages 8 and older. All minors must be accompanied by an adult.
– Limited to 10 participants, plus one tour guide.
– Participants must wear face masks while inside the building and maintain social distancing of 6 feet. Face masks are strongly encouraged while walking outside during the tour, but are not required.
– All programs are subject to change due to CDC and state guidelines.
