Junior Rangers: River Protectors

Becoming a junior ranger is a great way to know the National Scenic Riverway and learn what it means to be a National Park Service Ranger. To earn the official Riverway Junior Ranger Badge, participants must attend a series of hands-on learning activities. Get fresh with freshwater mussels, connect with aquatic macroinvertebrates, spy on birds with binoculars, and learn what it takes to stay afloat with lifejackets are the activities required to become a Riverway Junior Ranger. These short programs are the perfect way to ignite a love for the great outdoors plus fun for the entire family.
