Take a leisurely one-mile walk with the park naturalist through a snowy winter landscape.
The trail is flat and goes through a lovely forested area. There is no age limit, but the program is geared toward seniors.
Program and snowshoe use are free and limited to 20 people. Register by contacting Sean: sean.hoppes@state.mn.us or 651-583-2125 x 227. You’ll receive a confirmation email with program details.
Canceled if wind chill is below zero. If snow isn’t deep enough, this will become a winter walk without snowshoes. The program will start and end in the heated visitor center.
